What's in the template
The template has one row per visit with these columns: day, client, start time, end time, length in minutes, branch, carers needed, carer 1, carer 2 and notes.
Sort by carer to see each person's day, or by client to check everyone gets their visits. Filter the carers needed column for 2 to find every double-up and check both places are filled.
How to use it
Fill in your clients' regular visits first, then add carers. Before sharing the week, sort by carer and start time and read down each person's day to check for overlaps and for enough time to travel between visits.
When a spreadsheet stops being enough
A spreadsheet works well for a handful of clients. As an agency grows, it gets hard to see clashes, travel time, holidays and contracted hours at the same time. That is the point where rota software such as Isabelle takes the checking off your hands.
